NEPSE registers double digit increment
Kathmandu, Jan 14 . Nepal Stock Exchange today increased 11.74 points closing the second trading day at 1186. 80.
Likewise, the sensitive index, which measures performance of class ‘A’ stocks also surged 1.08 points to stand at 250.49. The market saw the trading of over Rs 268 million worth of 800,601 shares of the total 158 companies.
Of the total nine subgroups, shares of only banking dipped by 1.09 points. Hotel made gains by 18.84 points, while development bank by 4.56, hydropower 177.07, finance 6.96, non-life insurance 19.24 and microfinance 15.07. Likewise, life-insurance increased 3.18 and others 19.91.
