NRN experts’ global conference commences on Friday
Kathmandu, Oct 10 . The first global conference of the non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) experts is taking place in Kathmandu on Friday.
The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA), International Coordination Council gave out this information organizing a press conference today. The objective of the global conference is to support the goal of building a prosperous nation by investing the knowledge, skills and capital earned by the Nepali migrant workers who have gone for abroad employment.
The conference is to be held on October 12, 13 and 14 coinciding with the NRNA Day.
It is said that as many as 160 working papers will be presented by the experts who have earned name and fame working in different countries and discussed in the conference. Eighty people will comment on the working papers, NRNA president Bhawan Bhatta said.
Bhatta believed that the conference will prove to be a milestone in terms of seeking avenues of development in the country.
NRNA vice-president Dr Hemraj Sharma said some 350 delegates will attend the conference. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the meet.
