Death toll of Nepali migrant workers increases

Kathmandu, July 22 . The number of Nepali migrant workers died in course of foreign employment has increased in the last fiscal year than the previous one.
The statistics of Foreign Employment Promotion Board read that last fiscal year, 821 Nepali died in course of foreign employment while this number was 775 in the previous fiscal year. Many of them were reportedly found dead in bed.
Board Spokesperson Pabitra Ghimire said reports of investigations into the cases were however waited to know of the causes behind the increased number of Nepali migrant workers’ deaths last fiscal year.
