Three gas industries acquire NS certification

Kathmandu, Feb 8. Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology has provided Nepal Standard (NS) certification to three gas industries.

The gas industries acquiring the NS certification are Janaki Gas Industry, Nawalparasi, Metro Gas Industry, Dhading, and NL Gas Industry, Birgunj. The Bureau provided the quality certificate to these gas industries after carrying out monitoring of the industries.
With this, the number of gas industries NS certification has reached seven. A total of 55 gas industries are in operation across the country.

Manoh Gas Industry, Birgunj, Shree Krishna Gas Industry, Dhading, Sai Baba Gas Industry, Dhading and Nepal Gas Industry, Balaju, have already acquired the NS certification.

Director General of the Bureau, Bishwo Babu Pudasaini, said that the Bureau has asked necessary documents with all gas industries in order to provide NS certification to them within two months.
