I am not going to keep Karwa Chauth fast for Saif: Kareena Kapoor

India, Oct 22 – Hindu and Sikh women are celebrating "Karwa Chauth" a one day fast observed by Hindu nad Sikh women today.  During Karwa Chauth wives fast and pray for the long life and prosperity of their husbands. Unmarried women sometimes observe the fast for the sake of a future husband.

 

However Actress Kareena Kapoor is not observing fast on the occasion of Karwa Chauth today as she does not believe in going without food for her actor-husband Saif Ali Khan.

 

"I dont need to starve to prove my love. I am not going to fast. I am a Kapoor… I can't live without food. I would celebrate it by eating, working, by promoting my film," Kareena, who got married to Saif last year, reprted to TOI.
