Int'l conference on ecological impact in Chitwan from tommorow

CHITWAN, JUNE 17: An international conference on the ecological impact on agriculture, business, and technology is going to be held in Rampur, Chitwan, starting on June 18.

The Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) is organizing the two-day conference, where over 300 participants, including experts, professors, researchers, scientists, students, and institutional participants from Nepal, India, China, the USA, and Australia, will be attending, according to the organizer.

Dr. Rishiram Kattel, Research Director at the University's Directorate of Research and Extension, shared that experts from the University Grants Commission, Planning Commission, and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, National Academy of Science and Technology, and organizations related to the agriculture sector will also attend the event.

Similarly, more than 100 representatives from various universities and organizations in India will participate in the event.

During the event, participants will present over 100 working papers and engage in panel discussions on the ecological impact on agriculture, business, and technology, among other environmental and agricultural concerns, added Dr. Kattel.

The conference will also seek deliberation on the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture, practices in the management of the environment, forest and wildlife, and recent advances in biotechnology, among other topics.

Bharatpur Metropolitan City is extending collaboration to the conference, which is being held in the context of the anniversary celebration of the University and Bharatpur Visit Year, according to the organizer
