New Seres 3 to roll on Nepali roads this week
KATHMANDU, JUNE 24: MAW Vriddhi Autocorp has announced that it will launch the upgraded New Seres 3 this week. "The formal unveiling will showcase improvements to the already popular Seres 3 model, which has been well-received for its sturdy build quality, SUV aesthetics, impressive range, ground clearance, and sleek design," states a press release issued by the company.
The four-wheeler was initially introduced at the NADA Auto Show 2023, where it reportedly garnered significant appreciation from the audience. With over 300 units now in the market, the Seres 3 has proven its capability, notably becoming the first-ever EV SUV to reach Korala Pass at 4,660 meters above sea level, according to the company. It further claims that this achievement highlights the vehicle's practicality for the challenging Nepalese terrain and its strong road presence.
The New Seres 3 will be available in two variants: Comfort and Premium, catering to different customer needs and preferences.
Recently, it was successfully launched in the UK, Dubai, Pakistan, and the Philippines, further expanding its global footprint.
