Jyoti celebrates its 16th anniversary

KATHMANDU, JULY 24: Jyoti Bikash Bank celebrated its 16th anniversary today by holding a special program in the capital. Presided over by the bank's Chairman, Mr. Hari Chandra Khadka, the event was attended by board members, former directors, employees, and customers.

On this special occasion, the bank launched its new official website, organized a blood donation program, and distributed awards and medals to deserving employees, customers, and well-wishers. Moreover, Jyoti announced and signed agreements for various prestigious social responsibility programs. The bank is said to have allocated 50% more of its net profit to social responsibility initiatives compared to other banks and financial institutions operating in Nepal.

In his address, Chairman Khadka expressed heartfelt gratitude to the customers, shareholders, regulatory bodies, employees, and all well-wishers for their significant contributions to the bank's 16-year journey. 

Khadka emphasized the bank's ongoing commitment to social prosperity and employee development, highlighting participation in various domestic and international training programs. He reiterated the bank's commitment to providing high-quality banking services and introducing superior facilities in the future.

CEO of the bank, Mr. Kapil Dhakal, also addressed the ceremony, expressing appreciation to the founding directors, former chairpersons, employees, shareholders, and customers. He highlighted the bank's achievements and commitment to institutional social responsibility, pledging to further strengthen the bank's mission and vision.

Presently, Jyoti Bikash Bank operates 121 branches, 3 extension counters, and 75 ATMs, providing widespread access to banking services both within and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
