Regmi elevated as CEO of Global IME

KATHMANDU, JULY 25: Surendra Raj Regmi will be handling the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global IME Bank from Bhadra 1 (August 17). A board meeting of the bank held today made the decision to elevate Regmi from the post of Deputy CEO to CEO.
He will replace the outgoing CEO, Ratnaraj Bajracharya, whose tenure is to complete by the end of Shrawan (August 16). He joined Global IME some 16 years ago in the capacity of Deputy Manager.
He earned his Master's degree in Economics from Tribhuvan University and also completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from the UK-based University of Wales.
Regmi boasts about three decades of experience in the field of banking.
