BYD inaugurates new service center, reinaugurates old one
KATHMANDU, JULY 27: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd. in Nepal, has inaugurated a new service centre and reinaugurated the old one yesterday in the Kathmandu valley. The first one, located in Kupondole, Lalitpur, covers 8,556 sq. ft. and includes six service bays, two designated for urgent services and four equipped with specialized EV tools.
The centre also features a washing bay and a dedicated warehouse for spare parts, ensuring efficient and comprehensive service for BYD customers in the region. Additionally, dedicated stations for dent paint services and a comfortable lounge for customers have been introduced.
The Gaurighat workshop is staffed by over 50 dedicated employees, all committed to providing superior service. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Sabin Tandukar, the early adopter of BYD e6 (First Gen). The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Anil Jalan, the first customer of Eco Drives and Mr. Krishna Upreti, the early adopter of BYD Dolphin.
Meanwhile, situated in Gaurighar, Kathmandu, the second one witnessed extensive renovations to align with the latest guidelines of BYD before the reinauguration. This state-of-the-art workshop now spans an impressive 45,000 sq. ft. and features eight service bays, each equipped with specialized toolsets for electric vehicles (EVs).
It also boasts a substantial spare parts warehouse, ensuring an unmatched servicing experience. Additionally, dedicated stations for dent paint services and a comfortable lounge for customers have been introduced.
The two latest moves are aimed at better serving our growing customer base, according to the company.
