KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 6: The government has decided to re-appointed Deepak Raj Joshi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for a 4-year term. The NTB Board of Directors in a meeting yesterday made such a decision.
This is the second time Joshi has been appointed to lead the Board, having previously served as CEO from 2015 to 2020.
Former CEOs of the Board, Dhananjaya Regmi and Gyaneshwar Singh Mahato, had also been shortlisted for the position as recommended by the Selection Committee.
Speaking briefly to RSS following his appointment, CEO Joshi said it is both a challenge and an inspiration for him to deliver results amidst adverse conditions, limited resources, and high expectations from the tourism sector.
