Tata Punch EV unveiled in four major cities at once

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 19 : The Tata Punch EV, an electric compact SUV, has been officially launched in four major cities of the country simultaneously. "The cities are Chitwan, Pokhara, Butwal, and Bhairahawa," Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, the authorised dealer of the Tata brand for Nepal, informed.  

The launching event in Pokhara was attended by Sipradi's CEO Rajan Babu Shrestha and Pawan Prajapati, President of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speaking at the occasion, CEO Shrestha mentioned that the Tata Punch EV, which was unveiled at the NADA Auto Show, has garnered high demand and bookings across Nepal. 

Similarly, the Bhairahawa and Butwal launching programs saw the presence of Sipradi's COO Rajesh Prasad Giri and Passenger Vehicle Business Unit Head Savant Jung Sijapati along with Thakur Prasad Shrestha, President of the Siddharthnagar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In Chitwan, the event was attended by Sipradi’s Vice President Saurabh Thapaliya and Surya Prasad Nyaupane, President of the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce.

During the four separate events, keys were handed over to customers who had pre-booked the vehicle . Many customers reportedly expressed their excitement about receiving their Tata Punch EVs.

The starting price of the Tata Punch EV is set at NPR 3,399,000. This variant includes high-tech features such as a voice-assisted sunroof, a 360-degree camera, leatherette ventilated seats, six airbags, a wireless charger, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. The vehicle also offers as high ground clearance as 190 mm.
