Indian Premier to visit Nepal soon

NEW YORK (USA), SEPTEMBER 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently in New York leading the Nepali delegation at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), held a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.
The two leaders, along with foreign ministers and other officials from Nepal and India, convened at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel for discussions. Following the meeting, PM Oli briefly addressed the media, describing the talks as positive.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, who was also present at the meeting, said it was conducted in a cordial atmosphere. She also informed the media that Indian Prime Minister Modi plans to visit Nepal soon.
Accompanying PM Oli from the Nepali side were Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Political Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and Nepal's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa. On the Indian side, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Secretary Vikram Misri were present.
