Disaster update: 192 dead, 30 missing

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 30 : A total of 192 people have lost their lives, and 30 others are reported missing due to floods, landslides, and inundation caused by continuous rainfall. According to Home Ministry spokesperson Rishiram Tiwari, 194 individuals have been injured in these natural disasters.
He stated that over 4,500 affected individuals have been rescued so far through the efforts of all security agencies involved in search, rescue, and relief operations.
Emergency relief materials, including food, have been distributed to those impacted by the floods and landslides, and the injured are receiving free medical treatment. Spokesperson Tiwari added that efforts are underway to clear obstructed highways to resume traffic operations.
