217 dead , 28 missing due to deluge and landslides

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 1: The death toll from the landslide and flooding caused by the recent nonstop rainfall has reached 217, while the number of people reported missing stands at 28.
This is the latest update from Rishiram Tiwari, Spokesperson for the Home Ministry. In these natural disasters, 143 individuals have been injured.
All security agencies have been mobilized for comprehensive search, rescue, and relief efforts, he added. The injured are receiving treatment at various health facilities.
Additionally, those affected by the floods and landslides are being provided with immediate relief supplies.
The government has prioritized search, rescue, and relief distribution, and efforts to restore blocked roadways are also ongoing, Tiwari stated.
