Huawei showcasing digital transformation slutions at GITEX GLOBAL 2024

OCTOBER 16 : From October 14 to 18, Huawei has been participating as a Diamond Sponsor at GITEX GLOBAL 2024, one of the world’s largest tech exhibitions, under the theme "Accelerate Industrial Digitalization and Intelligence." On the first day, Huawei hosted the Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit and launched joint solutions with partners across ten industries, including public utilities, transportation, finance, electric power, oil & gas, mining, retail, education, and healthcare, along with a series of new flagship products. These solutions aim to support customers in advancing their digital and intelligent transformation efforts.
Li Peng, Corporate Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service at Huawei, opened the summit by emphasizing the company’s focus on integrating networking, storage, computing, cloud, and energy technologies. "We are collaborating with partners to build new digital and intelligent infrastructure," Li stated.
Li also discussed Huawei’s progress since the release of its reference architecture for industrial intelligent transformation last year. He highlighted how the framework has been successfully applied across sectors like government, finance, electric power, transportation, manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, and Internet services, enabling adaptable and industry-specific solutions. "We have compiled over 100 case studies that industry customers can use to accelerate their digital and intelligent transformation," Li added.
During his address, Li underscored the importance of partnerships in driving Huawei’s success. "These achievements would not have been possible without our partners," he said. "At Huawei, we are committed to building a healthy, open, and mutually beneficial partner ecosystem." He further explained that Huawei has established 14 OpenLabs worldwide to foster joint innovation with local solution providers.
"In the UAE alone, we have collaborated with more than 30 solution partners to develop over 20 industry-specific solutions," Li concluded, emphasizing the importance of local market innovation and Huawei’s dedication to meeting regional needs.
