NEPSE index down by 9.19 points
Share prices of 91 companies increase, 141 decline and 11 remain stable

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 27: On the first day of the weekly trading, the NEPSE index decreased by 9.19 points, falling to 2,617.95 points. Among the companies trading their stocks, the share prices of 91 companies increased, while 141 companies experienced a decline. The share prices of the remaining 11 companies remained stable.
In today's session, there were 56,646 transactions involving the trading of 1,113,417 shares worth Rs 4.7324 billion.
Out of the 13 sub-sectors that traded, the indices for Banking, Development Banks, Investment, Production and Processing, Microfinance, Mutual Funds, Life Insurance, and Others declined. In contrast, the remaining sub-sectors' indices saw an increase.
