Nepse index surges by 22.14 points
Stock prices of 43 companies go up, 92 decline, and 9 remain unchanged

KATHMANDU, NOVEMVE 11: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index has gained 22.14 points, reaching a level of 2760. Today, the market turnover also increased by NPR 1.56 million to NPR 11.31 billion.
A total of 143 companies saw their stock prices go up, while 92 companies experienced a decline, and 9 remained unchanged. The sectoral indices showed mixed responses, with the Microfinance Index leading the way with a notable rise of 3.2%. Other sectors that recorded gains include Banking (1.04%), Investment (1.28%), Life Insurance (1.66%), Manufacturing (0.01%), Other (0.21%), and Trading (0.73%). However, the Non-Life Insurance, Development Bank, Finance, and Hydropower indices saw slight declines of 0.22%, 0.10%, 0.30%, and 0.05%, respectively.
Eight companies saw their stock prices increase by 10%. These include Support Microfinance, Community Microfinance, Gurans Microfinance, Manushi Microfinance, Srijanshil Microfinance, Machhapuchhre Bank, Kuthali Bukri Small Hydropower, and CYC Microfinance. Additionally, the stock prices of Goodwill Finance and Narayani Development Bank rose by 9.8% and 9.6%, respectively.
The share value of Eastern Hydropower fell by 10%. Similarly, the stock prices of Samriddhi Finance and Sanima GIC Insurance decreased by 9.7% and 4.1%, respectively. Based on trading volume, the leading companies were Sahas Urja, Himalayan Reinsurance, Arun Bhali Hydropower, Sanima My Hydropower, and Samriddhi Finance.
