Price of gold hit a record low

The price of gold has hit a record low, decresing Rs by 15,900 per tola.Today, it is being traded  at Rs 151,300 per tola, compared to Rs 167,200 per tola on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the steep proce  due to the reduction in customs duty on gold.

The government has reduced the customs duty on gold from 20% to 10% and on silver from 15% to 10%.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by NPR 115 per tola and is now being traded at NPR 1,845 per tola, as reported by the federation.
