Ncell Foundation to donate educational materials for every 4 scored during NPL

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 29: The Ncell Foundation has announced a new initiative to donate educational materials to students in community schools located in rural and remote parts of Nepal. This initiative will contribute these materials for every four runs scored during the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
“Cricket unites everyone. Through this initiative, we aim to positively impact the lives of students in rural and underprivileged areas,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communication and CSR at Ncell.
The educational materials will be distributed in collaboration with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), local governments, and other stakeholders. This effort aligns with the existing partnership agreement between CAN and Ncell for the NPL. Under this partnership, Ncell and Siddhartha Bank are serving as the "Powered By" partners for the league.
In addition to this educational initiative, Chitwan Rhinos, one of the eight franchise-based teams participating in the NPL, is offering a free bus service for its supporters traveling from Chitwan to Kathmandu on match days. Five passenger buses will be arranged to transport fans from Chitwan Medical College to the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur and back. This service is available to ticket holders attending the match.
The Chitwan Rhinos will play their first match against the Kathmandu Gurkhas on December 2.
