Weather to remain partly cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces

The hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will remain partly cloudy today, while the rest of the country will experience mainly fair weather. Some hilly and Tarai regions, as well as valleys in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, have reported fog, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, hilly areas in Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, with light rain likely in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi Province.

The weather pattern is expected to persist into tonight.

On Saturday morning, fog is likely to form in the Tarai and parts of the Kathmandu Valley, potentially affecting daily life and transportation by road and air.

For expeditions, the forecast indicates mainly fair weather in the western region. Central areas may experience light snowfall in one or two locations, while Koshi Province is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of light rain in isolated spots over the next 24 hours.
