Int'l conference 'In Sight Live Nepal' in May

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 30: The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) will host "In Sight Live Nepal," an international conference in Kathmandu from May 9th to 11th, 2025.
This gathering will bring together IAPB representatives from around the globe, including international charities, eye hospitals, and educational and commercial institutions dedicated to eradicating blindness and improving eye health.
Nepal-based members of IAPB include Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, Nepal Eye Hospital, Tilganga Eye Institute, and BP Eye Foundation.
Following the recent IAPB conference in Mexico earlier this year, "In Sight Live Nepal" is expected to attract over 500 delegates from 100 countries.
Yuddha Dhwoj Sapkota, Chief of IAPB South East Asia, emphasized the significance of this event.
Dr. Shailesh Kumar Mishra, Executive Director of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, highlighted that the conference will focus on developing essential strategies and plans to advance eye health initiatives by 2030.
