Weather to remain fair across the country today

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 1: Westerly winds currently dominate Nepal, leading to foggy conditions in many Terai regions. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reports fog in some hilly areas of Gandaki Province.

This afternoon, the hilly regions will experience partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country will likely be fair. The far-western hilly regions may also have some clouds, with fair weather expected elsewhere.
