DPR underway for international-standard stadium in Janakpurdham

MAHENDRANAGAR (DHANUSA), JANUARY 5: The Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, announced that preparations are underway for the detailed project report (DPR) of the Ramjanaki Multipurpose Stadium, which is set to be built to international standards in Janakpurdham.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Jaya Trophy Men's Elite Cup cricket championship in Janakpurdham today, the Chief Minister revealed that the provincial government plans to sign an agreement on Monday with the National Sports Council and the Guthi Sansthan for the development of the stadium.
He acknowledged that some technical issues remain before the bidding process for the project can begin. The estimated cost of the project is between Rs 2.5 billion and Rs 3 billion.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the government’s commitment to collaborating with the youth of the province, aiming to enhance infrastructure development and create new opportunities for them.
