NHCL holds 13th Annual General Meeting
Shareholders to receive 19% bonus share and 1 % cash dividend

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 13 : Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) successfully concluded its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday. The meeting approved the audited financial statements for the last fiscal year 2023/24 and authorized the distribution of a 19% bonus share and a 1% cash dividend for tax purposes to shareholders.
Following the bonus share issuance, NCHL's paid-up capital will reach NRs. 1,268,270,900. To support future growth, the AGM also approved an increase in authorized capital to NRs 2.25 Billion.
The increased capital will be strategically utilized to enhance the National Payment Switch, develop and implement new payment systems for both domestic and international transactions, strengthen risk management systems, and upgrade and enhance existing infrastructure to support the growing demands of the digital payment ecosystem.
