Five hydel projects agree to address local people's demands

GALESWOR (MYAGDI), MARCH 17: Five hydropower projects under construction in Raghuganga Rural Municipality have agreed to undertake various works under their corporate social responsibility.
The hydropower projects being built in Raghuganga have officially committed to addressing several demands after facing significant pressure from the local community.
Following discussions with political parties, local representatives, and residents, an agreement was reached to address key demands, including the upgrading of dilapidated roads.
The 40-MW Rahughat, 22.5-MW Borokhola 'A', 35.5-MW Rahughat Mangale, 21.3-MW Borokhola, and 48.5-MW Upper Rahughat hydropower projects will respond to the 33-point written demand.
