SEE begins peacefully

KATHMANDU, MARCH 20 : The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has commenced across the country smoothly and without disruptions.

According to the National Examination Board’s Examination Control Office, the SEE started simultaneously at 8:00 AM across 2,079 examination centres nationwide.

Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, Nandlal Paudel, told RSS, "The examination is being conducted peacefully at all centres across the country." He added that strict security measures have been implemented at each examination centre to ensure a fair and orderly process.

Notably, 29 students are also appearing for the SEE at an examination centre in Japan. The examination office sent the question paper via email shortly before the exam began in Japan.

Additionally, students from the Central Jail in Kathmandu, two prisons in Dailekh, and children's correctional homes in Bhaktapur are participating in the SEE. Students from Kirtipur-based Success HIV Education House have also taken part in this year’s examination, Paudel informed.
