Hyundai CRETA unveiled in market
It is available in electric and internal combustion engine models
KATHMANDU, MARCH 25: Laxmi Intercontinental, the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has launched the electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) models of Hyundai CRETA in the Nepali market.
During an event held yesterday with the theme "CHOOSE YOUR FUTURE," they were unveiled at the Soaltee Hotel in Kathmandu. The price for the CRETA EV is Rs. 51,96,000, while the CRETA ICE costs Rs. 53,96,000. Particularly, the price of the latter, which is assembled in Nepal itself, is Rs. 900 thousand less compared to the imported one.
According to the company, the Hyundai Creta has been a popular choice in Nepal’s mid-size SUV segment since 2015, gaining the trust of over 10,000 customers from various age groups. "Known as the Ultimate SUV, it is celebrated for its striking design and road presence."
In addition to launching electric vehicles, Hyundai Nepal is said to have been actively working on expanding its ecosystem, including the development of a charging network under its new identity "Re-Lax."
Notably, the company has partnered with Attero India for battery recycling and residual value management, ensuring long-term sustainability and passing the benefits on to customers.
