Today’s weather: Rain and snowfall likely to occur

KATHMANDU, MARCH 11: The western low-pressure system has partially affected Nepal. According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the hilly region of Bagmati province and Koshi province.

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the hilly region of the country including Sudurpashchim Province, Karnali Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province in the afternoon. Likewise, light snowfall is likely to occur at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali province and Sudurpashchim province and a few places in the rest of the high-hilly regions.

The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and mainly fair in the rest of the country during the night. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
