NEPSE plunges by over 70 points

KATHMANDU, MARCH 5: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has today plunged by a staggering 70.31 points to close at 2000.7 points. Yesterday, it rose bullishly by gaining 117 points but the upward momentum could not be maintained on Tuesday.
The market value of stocks of 33 companies increased while the same of 213 companies went down. Similarly, 2 companies saw their share price remaining unchanged.
During today’s session, 11 million 467 thousand 5 hundred 99 shares were traded via 69 thousand 2 hundred 8 transactions. The total turnover of the capital market stood at Rs 4 billion 113 million 600 thousand. On Tuesday, the very kind of amount had been recorded at Rs 375 million 2oo thousand.
