Jalpa not to distribute dividends this year

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 1: Jalpa Community Microfinance Limited has decided not to distribute cash dividends this fiscal year. A board meeting of the company held yesterday made a decision to this effect.

The meeting also agreed to forward the annual report to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) for endorsement. After the endorsement of the bank, the report will be approved by the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of  Jalpa Community Microfinance Limited.

Last year, it distributed 14.25 per cent of bonus shares and 0.75 per cent of cash dividends to its shareholders.
