Singati Hydro Energy to issue 100 percent right shares

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 1: Singati Hydro Energy Limited is issuing the right shares in the ratio of 1:1 to its shareholders. A few days back, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) permitted the company to issue 14.5 million units of such shares.
After the proposed right issuance, the paid-up capital of the company will reach Rs 2.90 billion. Currently, 1.45 million shares of SHEL are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange.
The Singati River hydropower project, run by the company has a capacity of producing 25 megawatts of power. The project, located in Dolakha, began commercial production on August 1, 2021.
