NEPSE sees a rise of over 38 points

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 18: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) benchmark today increased by 38.14 points or 1.89% to settle at 2060.49. There were a total of 113,693 transactions with the turnover standing at Rs 6.86 billion.
During today’s trading session, the share market value of the shares of 72 went down while that of 165 companies increased. Similarly, 4 companies saw their stock prices remained unchanged.
Remarkably, six companies posted a phenomenal 10% gain, triggering a positive circuit for the day. Himalayan Power Partners Limited (HPPL) suffered the highest loss at 7.86%.
On the second trading day of this week, the sub-indices of all ll sectors except the hydropower closed in the green zone. The Microfinance index saw the highest rise of 5.53% while the hydropower index experienced a minor loss of 0.33%.
