Bhaktapur Municipality, Leshan Municipality of China sign MoU

BHAKTAPUR, DECEMBER 13: Bhaktapur Municipality and Leshan Municipality of Sichuan Province, China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on establishing sister-city relations. Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality, Sunil Prajapati and Leshan Municipality deputy mayor Lei Xianshin signed the MoU to this connection here yesterday.

As per the MoU, both municipalities will have an exchange of cooperation in the economy, trade, education, health, culture, tourism, handicraft, and sports, among other sectors, keeping in mind mutual equality and bilateral interests. Leshan Municipality deputy mayor on the occasion expressed confidence that the bilateral ties between the two cities would be further deepened through this collaboration and the economic, tourism and cultural exchanges.

The Chinese delegation visited the Bhaktapur Durbar Area, Taumadhi, Dattatraya area, Khwopa College, the Khwopa Hospital and the Khwopa College of Engineering.
