Swiss Ambassador Presents Credentials to Nepalese President
Kathmandu, October 5: In a formal ceremony held at the Rastrapati Bhawan in Maharajgunj, Her Excellency, Dr. Danielle Meuwly, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, presented her Letter of Credence to the Right Honorable Mr. Ramchandra Paudel, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.
During this warm exchange, Ambassador Meuwly reaffirmed Switzerland’s unwavering commitment to fortifying the enduring bilateral relationship between the two nations.
In addition to Switzerland’s ongoing development collaboration with Nepal, Ambassador Meuwly expressed her intent to bolster cooperation in the economic sector and foster cultural exchanges, promoting people-to-people connections that celebrate the rich cultural heritage shared by both countries.
With a distinguished background, including a doctorate in economics and advanced European studies, Ambassador Meuwly brings a wealth of experience in diplomacy and international affairs from her tenure at the Swiss Foreign Ministry, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), World Bank, and the United Nations.
