Ncell launches ‘Ncell VoLTE’ service

Kathmandu, September 5. Ncell customers can now benefit from access to clear high definition (HD) voice calls. Ncell Axiata Limited has commercially launched its Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) service ‘Ncell VoLTE’ with selected handset models.
VoLTE is a new technology that provides superior quality high-definition voice calls along with almost instant call connection. With VoLTE service, voice calls can be made on the 4G network, and without falling back to the 3G network, customers can benefit from the high-quality voice at the normal voice tariff as well as data service simultaneously.
After a successful soft launch, the company introduced the Ncell VoLTE commercially on Thursday. Customers using Galaxy A51, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy A53 of Samsung, Y55, and V23 of Vivo, and Nova 3i, Y9 Prime 2019 of Huawei can start using the high-quality voice service.
Customers using Ncell 4G SIM (USIM) and the above-mentioned handsets can simply dial *17201# to activate and enjoy Ncell VoLTE service. After activation, customers are also eligible to get 100 minutes of Ncell to Ncell VoLTE talk time as a bonus which is valid for 28 days. Users who are using the handsets listed above need to have the latest version of software installed in their handsets.
Ncell is delighted to launch the VoLTE service commercially, bringing new technology to consumers. The company will continue to add more VoLTE-enabled handset models to ensure that the service reaches more consumers across the country.
Customers can use Ncell VoLTE service all over Nepal where Ncell 4G network is available. To enjoy the service, customers will need to turn on their 4G settings in their eligible handsets.
