NICCI holds its 10th AGM

KATHMANDU, MARCH 30: The Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) announced the successful culmination of its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday at Hotel Barahi in Kathmandu. The event marked a significant milestone in the chamber’s journey towards fostering robust economic ties between Nepal and Italy.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, with Rekha Sharma, Minister of Information and Communication of Nepal, presiding as the Chief Guest of Honor. Among the attendees were eminent personalities who have played pivotal roles in advancing bilateral relations between the two nations. Key figures within NICCI, including President Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, Honorary Patron Mr. Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, and Honorary Consul for Italy to Nepal Ms. Pratima Pandey, were felicitated for their unwavering commitment to the chamber’s objectives.

A significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of the “NICCI DIRECTORY” by Minister Sharma, symbolizing a moment of progress and enhanced connectivity within the chamber. The occasion also witnessed the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the Guest of Honor, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to nurturing bilateral trade relations.

Moreover, the AGM provided a platform for recognizing and welcoming newly appointed members, who received membership certificates as a testament to their commitment to NICCI’s vision of promoting trade and investment between Nepal and Italy.
