Prices of diesel, kerosene go down

KATHMANDU, MAY 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of diesel and kerosene effective from today. Both diesel and kerosene will see a decrease of Rs 2 per liter effective from today

Consequently, the revised prices for diesel and kerosene stand at Rs 156.50 per liter for the first category of location, Rs 158 per liter for the second category, and Rs 159 per liter for the third category. However, NOC has opted to raise the price of aviation fuel (domestic) by Rs 1 per liter and aviation fuel (international) by US$ 7 per kilolitre.

Consequently, the new price for aviation fuel (domestic) stands at Rs 137 per liter, while the price for aviation fuel (international) is now US$ 1.042 per liter. NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur confirmed that the prices of petrol and LPG (cooking gas) remain unchanged.
