Kathmandu, July 25. Sanima Bank Ltd and Swisscontact/Nepal Agriculture Market Development Program Phase II have signed a partnership agreement with the goal of strengthening capacity of Sanima Bank to finance Agri-SMEs in Koshi Province.

The partnership aims to cater and ease the financial need of Agro processing enterprises in Koshi Province and carry out orientation and spread awareness in an innovative and effective way. This partnership will optimizethe digitization of the Agri loan processing, carry out promotional activities of Agri loan products, organize various client orientation and business literacy programs and build the capacity of the Bank’s staff to cater the Agri-enterprises needs in an efficient way.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Sanima Bank, Mr. Tej Bahadur Chand, mentioned that the partnershipwould enable Sanima Bank to further strengthen its initiatives in better serving Agriculture Enterprises through innovative financial products and services. Sanima Bank is providing services from 132 offices and 122 ATM networks across all 7 provinces.
