King’s College, Nepal announced a new partnership

Kathmandu, Sept 18. King’s College, Nepal announced a new partnership with Meet Ventures, Singapore. This partnership aims to foster a regional entrepreneurial collaboration as both King’s College and MEET Ventures have extensive experience promoting entrepreneurship eco-systems. Asmod Karki, Lead at Growth and Innovation Studies (GIS) at King’s College and John Lim, Partner at MEET Ventures signed the MOU on behalf of their organizations.

“We are quite excited about this collaboration with MEET Ventures. We believe this partnership will provide an excellent opportunity for Nepali startups to receive mentorship from international mentors, explore international market, and connect with investors abroad,” said Narottam Aryal, President of King’s College. The college will support MEET Ventures gain access to promising startups in Nepal and South Asia. King’s College, through its various research and incubation programs, will also share knowledge and best practices pertaining to entrepreneurship in the region.

Similarly, MEET Ventures will provide access to opportunities for funding from the corporate clients. Students at the college will also be able to receive mentorship from MEET Ventures and its associates, and gain access to events and competitions from Singapore and Southeast Asia.  “The partnership will be our first in Nepal. Each country will have its own strengths when nurturing and developing entrepreneurs and we are excited to see the type of entrepreneurs in the 21st century that will arise from Nepal,” mentioned Farhan Firdaus, Partner at MEET Ventures.
