17th Int’l Industrial Trade Fair on May 8 to12

KATHMANDU, MARCH 18: The 17th International Industrial Trade Fair-2081 BS is scheduled to take place from May 8 with the aim of promoting indigenous products. To be organized by the Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industry (FNCSI), the fair will be held at Bhrikutimandap, Exhibition Marg in Kathmandu, spanning from May 8 to May 12.

Under the themes of “Find Nepali, Choose Nepali” and “Let’s use Nepali products, be proud of being a Nepali,” the event aims to showcase the contributions of entrepreneurs engaged in agriculture and over 600,000 domestic small industries nationwide.

Participants from all provinces and districts of Nepal, as well as from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, other SAARC countries, and China, are expected to join. The exhibition will feature products from various food industries, including micro, cottage, and small industries, facilitating interactions on Business to Business (BtoB), Business to Consumers (BtoC), and Business to Government (BtoG) platforms.

Additionally, cultural programs and a food festival will be part of the event. With an anticipated 250 stalls and over 200,000 visitors, organizers project an economic turnover exceeding Rs 70 million from the fair.
