Kathmandu, June 14. GWM-Nepal has officially commenced booking of its most-awaited all-electric crossover, the ORA 03 EV, a 100% electric model, under GWM’s ORA brand in Nepal with an introductory price of Rs. 47, 49000/-.
GWM ORA 03 is a global model that has already been launched in various countries, including China, Thailand, Malaysia, the UK, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, with different model names like Goodcat, Funkycat, and ORA 03 EV, and has gained great appreciation from users in various markets, with more than 150,000 owners worldwide.
The ORA 03 EV is a retro-modernistic crossover designed by former Porsche designer Emanuel Derta. It closely follows the “Retro-Modernistic” concept, achieved through the integration of advanced EV technology with timeless classic design cues. Aesthetically, the ORA 03 EV has soft lines in its exterior, which also characterize the brand’s other models and reinforce a very recognizable family style, combining a retro look with modern features.
Up front, the round full LED headlights with circular daytime running lights are the most striking design element, while the rear light clusters are mounted high up so as to virtually disappear into the rear window. They form a single horizontal strip of light extending right across the width of the car.
The interior is well thought out in terms of design and materials, with widespread use of “leatherette”. The retro/modern aesthetic carries through in the driver’s cockpit as well. GWM Nepal is offering an 8-year or 150000 km (whichever comes earlier) warranty on the high voltage battery, drive motor, and motor controller, and 4 years or 150000 km (whichever comes earlier) on the entire vehicle, excluding wear and tear parts.
