Virtual Job Fair 2021

Kathmandu, March 31. AskMe Management has again come back with AskMe virtual job fair 2021 after overwhelming response in 2020.This time as well Rastriya Banijya Bank has come up as main sponsor and Connect IPS as Digital Payment Partner along with support partners- Nepal Investment Bank, Shikhar Insurance, Nepal Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Boston College. AskMe had launched virtual job fair for the first time in Nepal in 2020 and it was huge success with more than 40 employers’ participation in job fair with 200 plus exciting jobs.

AskMe is trying to bridge job seekers and employers when it is needed the most. The job market has been in pretty much stale state because of pandemic. Job seekers are in dire need of job. In times like this, AskMe is coming up with more than 200 jobs in cart.

Ms. Archana Kunwar, Managing Director of AskMe says, this is first of its kind in Nepal and both job seekers and employers will benefit from this campaign.We are not just taking it as regular business but we feel really good to bridge job seekers to employers when they need it the most. And hopefully, this will give some positivity to overall job market.

After her MBA from KUSOM, Ms. Archana joined Sanima Bank as Management Trainee and worked there for 4 years. She then left her promising banking career to run her own business and since then she has been focusing on innovative HR solutions. Along with virtual job fair they are also launching askmelearning.com where people can hone different skills as per their requirement.

AskMe Virtual Job Fair 2021 will be live from March 31 to April 2, 2021. The  They are targeting more than 100,000 job seekers visit the platform with more than 35 employers setting up their virtual kiosk. This will open up job market not only to job seekers within country but those aspirants who are willing to come back to Nepal and start fresh career. Ms. Archana believes this initiative will help Employers to find the right match and job seekers to find the job that they have been looking for.

How can Employer benefit out of this fair:

They can install virtual kiosk and post their jobs. Since they are doing mass marketing to attract 100,000+  job seekers, all employers who are part of fair will have access to bigger pool of resources and chances of finding right set of candidates is also very high.
