Namita Ghimire honored with Global Changemaker Award 2020
Kathmandu, march 8. Manini Foundation and Project 100 honored the ‘Global Changemaker Award 2020’ for the Organizations and individuals from 15 countries and various states of India for the outstanding work in the fields of education, arts, sports, health, environment, media , agriculture , industry , business , trade , women empowerment , gender equality and human right etc.
The aura magnified when the event honored Namita Ghimire of Nepal for her contribution along with other awardees. The award had its special prestige as this year awards were dedicated to Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi.
The award was organized by the Manini Foundation and Project 100 of India . Program was held in a grand style on February 20 at hotel Yogi Midtown Navi Mumbai.
“The Global Changemaker Award 2020 will be an inspiration to the underprivileged section of the society as well as to individuals and organizations who have dedicated their lives in various fields such as education arts sports health culture environment, agriculture industry and trade. Such awards would give them the strength to work with more enthusiasm”, said the former Union Minister Sushilkumar Shinde who had graced the ceremony.
Dr Vijay Kumar Shah, Dr Ranganath Nayakade, founder of Manini Foundation Dr Bharati Chavan, Suraj Gaikwad and other awardees from various countries were present for the program.
Former union minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Senior Social Activist Padma -Shri Dr. Girish Prabhune felicitated the awardees with the awards.
