KIA extends warranty.
Kathmandu, April 15 . Korean auto-maker KIA has launched KIA Promise program for its customers whose warranty expires in February-April 2020, those who have failed to visit Kia dealer due to Covid-19 or those who have failed to repair their vehicles due to Kia dealer closure by Covid-19.
“Customers of this group can enjoy their warranty until June 2020.” Continental Trading Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Sole Distributor of KIA to Nepal said in a statement released on 15 April.
Businesses including KIA delears and service centers in several countries and regions are closed due to lockdown, a measure to contain the spread of deadly Coronavirus outbreak that causes Kovid-19. Customers of the brand are also unable to repair their vehicles under the warranty as they are confined to their home since governments have imposed restrictions on movement and gatherings.
The company has launched the program to extend the warranty for the costumers. The program allows the customers to get repaired their vehicles until 30 June 2020.
“Extended warranty is limited to only above customers when they visit and request the repair to Kia dealer until June.” Reads the press release.
