Budweiser and Foster’s Beer to be produced in Nepal
Lalitpur, August 3. Raj Brewery Pvt. Ltd. has entered into an exclusive partnership with Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s leading brewer, to produce and bottle some of the best-known beer brands in the world. Raj Brewery is Nepal’s most technologically advanced brewery approved by renowned global brew masters of AB InBev and Warsteiner International. The brewery has been producing Germany’s iconic brand Warsteiner Premium German Beer since 2018 that beer lovers in Nepal have embraced in a very short period of time.
Now, the region will soon be able to enjoy some of AB InBev’s iconic brands like Budweiser, Budweiser Magnum, Foster’s Gold, and Foster’s lager brewed locally and Corona Extra, Leffe, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois imported from AB InBev’s state-of-the-art breweries worldwide.
Raj Brewery belongs to the Jawalakhel Group of Industries conglomerate, the undisputed market leader in the alco-beverage business in Nepal with multiple distilleries, a brewery along with R&D and distribution units. JGI’s portfolio of products include Nepal’s highest selling flagship brands such as Ruslan, Golden Oak and Blue Diamond that are the market leaders in their respective segments.
AB InBev, with its global headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, has a presence in nearly 50 countries and offers a diverse portfolio of over 500 iconic brands. Budweiser, from the brewer’s portfolio, has been named as the world’s most valuable beer brand, followed by Bud Light, Harbin, Corona Extra and Brahma according to a ranking released by Brand Finance, an independent business valuation company. The other brands in the portfolio include Stella Artois, Beck’s, Castle, Castle Lite, Hoegaarden, Leffe among others.
Budweiser, the “King of Beers”, is a sponsor of some of the world’s biggest sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup and starting this year, the English Premier League and La Liga. The brand is also at the forefront of shaping music culture by partnering with both global and local music events such Tomorrowland, Magnetic Fields, Supersonic and through its very own IP, BUDX that energizes and empowers young and emerging talent.
The brand also made its foray in street fashion with an aim to engage with the growing street culture community by collaborating with culture leaders like VegNonVeg, Huemn, NorBlackNorWhite, Hanif Kureshi and Boxout.FM, for its eclectic collections like BUDXSTREET and Hufweiser. Through the exclusive association with AB InBev, Raj Brewery aims to bring this authentic and premium Budweiser experience to beer connoisseurs in the region.
