NYEF organizes LEADER Project for fifth time
Kathmandu, May 4 .The Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF) have partnered with LEADER Project to organize a two week long workshop on business plan development for the fifth time. The program, one of NYEF’s key initiatives, took place from April 22 to May 3 2019, is a student-led initiative from the Ivey Business School at Western University aimed at promoting economic development through business training.
40 participants took part in the program. All instructors for the LEADER Project are trained by Ivey’s unique case method of teaching, and use a curriculum built from world-class case studies written at Ivey, a top ranked global business institution.
After 2 weeks of the workshop, on the final day, the participants of the program will pitch their business plans to a panel of judges consisting of industry experts, top entrepreneurs and members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Leader Project Alumni’s will also be a part of the audience.
Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF), the organizer, is an apex body of young entrepreneurs in Nepal. It is a membership based non-profit organization, established with a vision of empowering positive business thinking. It aims at creating outstanding entrepreneurs through idea exchange, fellowships, education, training and advocacy among the Nepali youth. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) officially instituted the forum in September 26, 2003.
