Share market suffers around 6-point fall

Kathmandu, Nov 19 . The domestic share market again suffered a fall today, the second of the week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), its index plummeted 5.9 points today to sit at 1189.56 points compared to the trading of the opening day.
Likewise, the sensitive sub-index that measures the values of ‘A’ class companies dipped 1.21 points to close at 252.93 points. The NEPSE index shows that today’s total turnover was Rs 212,917,022 and the number of total traded shares was 709,379.
Share of a total 148 companies were traded today. Among the nine sub-indices, only two– finance and others — closed with green notifications indicating a rise in turnover with 0.91 points and 2.34 points, respectively.
Others sub indices banking (6.3 points); hotel (19.64); development bank (5.97); hydropower (22.79); non-life insurance ( 12.78); micro finance ( 7.57) and life insurance ( 32.18) decreased.
