NEPSE index suffers modest dip
Kathmandu, Oct 4 . The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index today suffered a slight dip of 3.23 points to close at 1,227.37. The sensitive index, which measures the performance of class ‘A’ stocks, also went down by 0.82 points to rest at 260.24. Over 1.58 million shares of the total 165 companies were traded at more than Rs 428 million.
Shares of banking dipped 2.86 points, while hotel 26.69, development bank 4.08, hydropower 1.09, non-life insurance 14.3 and production 6.25. Likewise, micro finance tanked by 11.2 points and others by 0.78. But trade made gains by 1.69 points and finance and life insurance by 1.36 and 0.55 respectively.

Meanwhile, share investors investing in the secondary market can check and the details of the shares they have sold and make clearance through the ‘Mero Share’.
Mero Share is a facility to issue Capital Requirement Directive electronically brought by the CDS and Clearing Limited for the convenience of investors investing in the secondary market.
