Nepal climbs one point in FIFA ranking

Kathmandu, Sept 20 . Nepal has improved by one point in the latest FIFA ranking.
According to the list made public by FIFA, the world football governing body, today, Nepal stands at 160th position, one better than the 161st last month.
The improvement was based on Nepal’s performance in the recent SAFF championship held in Bangladesh. Nepal is behind India and the Maldives in South Asia.
Belgium and France jointly lead the first position with 1721 points each. They are followed by Brazil, Croatia and Uruguay.
